Well I guess it is time to update again lol. I am seeing a few of you have found your way over to the new site lol. It is a lot quieter over here so the word hasn’t got out nearly as much which is kind of what I was looking for. Although the lack of hits and guestbook entries is pretty sad lol but I can’t have both right? Well it was my original goal to do a week long countdown till I left for Washington to see my sweet and beautiful Anne but that has been placed on hold for now. I am sorry Anne but I agree your right that the distance was too huge but who knows where we’ll go from here I wish you and the kids all the best. Good luck with your courses I know you’ll do well and if you need anything I am just a call or click away.  I miss you but I understand why you pulled away I don’t like it but had to be done I guess. So now I have all this Vacation time booked off coming up and not sure what to do with myself any suggestion anyone lol? Although I am going to take some of  the time to say goodbye to  Jodie and my nephews as they are moving out to Victoria B.C. I knew this day was coming since the beginning of January but reality of it is just sinking in. For those of you who are new here Jodie is my cousin and she has 3 boys. She and I were complete strangers for about 15yrs since we were small kids her family went to west and my mom and my step dad moved east. We were reunited in 2000 at the funeral of my biological father (who I never knew for very good reasons which I won’t share here). Jodie and I met gave our condolences and I went back east but she had moved back to Ontario at this point. I t was about a week after the funeral I started getting emails from her and being 3 provinces away I took the time to get to know her and long story short when I moved back to Ontario several months later  we went to dinner  and I met her 3 boys for the first time. Over the past 4 ½  to 5 yrs those boys have because very  close to me  and I’ve become  like an uncle to them and Jodie has become LIKE the sister I never had but always wanted. Jodie has become such a part of my life and we are closer then ever as family that I can’t even remember what is like not to have her around. Simply I would not have it any other way. I know she will be successful in your new position in BC and the boys will do fine. I’ve just become so attached to you all and the fact I can drop everything to be there in 45mins to an hr if I was needed or to get to the soccer games etc.  WOW I just   can’t believe you’ll be miles apart. I will of course visit and call it’s just not the same. I know I know  Jodie ( I can almost predict your answer as I hear her voice in my head telling me well you’ll just have to move to BC too as the boys need their Uncle) It’s just I love you and the boys have become  almost like my own  and it’s just hard to say goodbye.
